Netflix to release immersive/play along version of Bird Box after success of Black Mirror’s Bandersnatch

In spring 2019 Netflix are set to release an updated version of Bird Box, the hit film that saw people cover their eyes in support of blind people.

The film has been controversial as there have been incidences of people causing accidents while wearing blindfolds and attempting to complete everyday tasks like driving and sleeping.

Bird Box also caused outrage in Hollywood as once more an able bodied actor has stolen a traditionally disabled persons role.

The new version of the film will have people tie a blindfold round themselves and their loved ones, followed by what Neflix are calling a ‘unique viewing experience’ and ‘tv for your ears’. You will then sit for the duration of the film in slight bewilderment not knowing what’s really happening, however the next day you’ll be raving to all your friends about how it’s the best thing on tv for years.
