Upon learning the tragic news that adults only laugh on average 20 times a day, we knew we had to do something.
The gift of comedy isn’t something that everyone has. I should know, I know loads of unfunny people. Sometimes they struggle to even make it through the day, they hit 19 laughs and have to endlessly scroll through social media for a half baked scoff just to sleep.
Comedy, specifically it’s output – laughter, is a means of escapism. We can for those few moments really forget how terrible life is right now.
It got us thinking, we thought if we here at The Bulls Nose can bring laugher to the masses or perhaps even just the crack of a smile, we know that we would be doing out part to encourage the nation, nigh the world, to get up the daily average.

Not physically of course just in terms of laughter and probably most intelligence tests.
Laugh expert, Robert Provine, who is the most serious man about laughing we’ve ever met, has studied laugher for 30 years and doesn’t even get out of bed till he’s laughed at least the daily average.
His wife said soundproofing the bedroom is the best thing she’s ever done.
