The news that a new royal yacht could be commissioned in honour of Prince Philip has hit the press this week.
Reportedly one of the most lavish yachts ever to be commissioned, a leaked schematic shows multiple themed decks for the royal family and guests to enjoy.
We have been sent the partially leaked list and have it included below for you.
– A cuisine deck, with a Michelin star chef
– RAF forces stationed on-board for protection
– An ‘experience deck’, reportedly including a cinema, playpark and a food bank, that will help the royals stay connected to everyday British life
– Hunting deck for Prince Andrew (both animals and children)
– A vault that can store £100 million in cash and jewels
– A shopping deck with luxury establishments including; John Lewis, Harrods, Selfridges, Harmony, TK MAXX, the last Topshop and more
– A plank for any mutineers
There has been a varied discussion in the media about whether the royal family need this new yacht. One side argues it is good for British Spirit and honours the memory of a member of the royal family. Whilst the other side argues about feeding starving children or something.
All I know is that we are high enough social standing to be invited onto the yacht when it is built so we are all for it!
