The New iPhone to be automatically set in Arabic! APPLE ANNOUNCES! (English Version)

*This is a repeat of an earlier article because apparently most of our readers can’t read backwards*.

In a new announcement about the upcoming iPhone, Apple has announced that it will be automatically set to Arabic rather than letting you chose in the setup.

This is a first for the company, who recently passed a trillion dollar value.

The statement about the product -released by Apple unsurprisingly days after the major launch- has gone viral, with many people annoyed about the contents.

We have part of the statement here:

“We here at Apple are determined to meet the needs of our customer base. Over the last 3 years we have seen a large increase of customers within the Middle East. To accommodate these new customers, who write and read predominantly in Arabic, we have decided to set all new iPhones, even western ones to Arabic automatically. These settings will be able to be changed in the usual spots, but we are hoping that people can adapt like we have to an ever changing global market”.

The stance by Apple has caused outrage amongst many. Thousands have already signed a petition against Apple’s decision, stating that they felt abandoned by the company’s thought process.

John from America said “I feel abandoned by the idea. I’ve been buying Apple products for years. Why aren’t they defending their old customers instead of pandering to the new? Plus, Arabs read the wrong way, and I can’t even read , so I’d be at a double disadvantage!”.

Many others, mainly from the Middle East, have voiced their support for the idea. Josh from Saudi Arabia, had this to say, “وأعتقد أن فكرة عظيمة. أعني من لا يريد تعلم اللغة العربية لأنها أهم لغة في العالم. سوف يرى الأمريكيون ذلك الآن أيضا”.

In spite of this anger Apple is sticking to its core principles.
