Where you should travel when you can, our top landmarks to visit

In this article we take you through The Bulls Nose’s favourite landmarks from around the world that you should visit, when you can safely.

Trafalgar Square

Rome, the birthplace of Romans. This square, named after the battle of Trafalgar, this beautiful place has statues surrounding the edges which represent all of the people who died in the battle. We don’t know why it’s called a square when it’s clearly a circle – just another quirky thing about this iconic location.

We totally recommend visiting here whenever you’re in Rome, it really brings British history to life. Why it’s in Italy, we may never know…

Niagara Falls

Canada’s crowning jewel. No, not the complete decimation of indigenous people which continues to this very day, Niagara Falls. The most beautiful cliffs in all of North America, they stretch the full length of however long Canada is. Nobody knows the full length as tape measures do not stretch that far.

Eiffel tower

Paris, a city in France. When you’re in Paris you should really check in on this magnificent structure, the Eiffel tower. It stands tall among the Parisian sky line, really defining how Paris was the first city to have mass telecommunication.

The Sphinx

The most incredible piece of architecture ever created. Originally created as an ancient burial ground for Egyptian emperors, it now hosts an impressive gift shop and the bar provides another way for it to feel like your brain is being pulled out of your skull.

The question that puzzled archaeologists for decades, “why there is be a sphinx in the Nevada dessert?” was recently answered. An ancient Egyptian journal was found and it turns out they were just on holiday in Las Vegas and decided to build it.

Everest

The tallest mountain in the world that many have tried and failed to climb. Do not be deceived by its warm look in photographs. It is one of the coldest and most inhospitable environments on Earth. This photo is taken from the ground so it won’t capture the snowy outcrop.

Often believed to be a sacred place by locals, Everest has provided many magical experiences over the years including, once upon a time, being Santa’s main base of operations for his joint enterprise military intervention into Tibet with the Chinese military. Talk about mince pies and genocide ey.
