New picture of Potato released to mark sixth week in cupboard

A new photograph of the Potato has been released to mark the sixth week it has remained in the cupboard.

Taken by a flatmate, the Duchess of Cambridge, it shows the Potato looking happy and relaxed in a floral summer dress.

The flat’s spokesperson said the image was captured this weekend in the flat.

The Potato was born at the private Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Farm in Paddington, central London, at 8.34 am on 2 May 2015. Before being sold at the local Sainsbury’s on 15^th February 2021.

Its birthday is close to that of its younger brother, carrot, who recently hit the three-week mark in the cupboard.

The flatmate also released a photo from their collection to mark its latest birthday.
