5 things missing from this year’s Oscars

The 93rd Academy Awards has taken place in the last week, commonly known to pleps as ‘The Oscars’.

Our team watched the entire event closely and have managed to spot 5 things that were either missing or just didn’t happen in this year’s ceremony.

1)    The cake we ordered to the venue containing a man dressed in a Xenomorph costume, who was supposed to pop out right by Anthony Hopkins as he won best actor, wasn’t let through security. Luckily, Sir Anthony himself did not turn up either. He must have gotten wind of the plan.

2)    The sky portal did not open as the soothsayer said it would. That is £500 the BNN finance team will have to take on the chin.

3)    The 3-course meal seemed to be way worse than previous years, with celebrities having to take multiple trips to the bathroom to take medicine.

4)    Not enough acknowledgement of the giant squid that sank sound stage 18 in January, killing 12.

5)    A man called Oscar, winning an Oscar.
